Rogue Session

I'm excited to announce an expansion of the Jefferson Spey Sessions.

This fall on the Rogue:
Nov. 15-18, myself, Jason Hartwick and Scott Howell will be hosting a Skagit based/sinktip spey school.

Jason Hartwick has made a living chasing the winter steelhead with the skagit line that call the rivers of a lost coast home. And has been doing so since he was a young one, he knows how to get a fly to the fish. And is one of the fishiest guys I know.

Scott Howell should need no introduction. Scott was on the cutting edge of design of the now famed "skagit head" and the "intruder" revolution. I'm sure you must've seen him in the "Skagit Master" series volume 2, if not you should check it out! We're stoked to add Scott to the sessions!

Just in time to dial in for winter or tune up what you might've been lacking last season. November on the Rogue is a special time. Most anglers have long ago left, leaving behind the last push of big native Rogue steelhead headed for far upstream tributaries that don't open up to them until the fall rains.

We'll be hosting this session on the banks of the wild Rogue River at one southern Oregon's most known, Weasku Inn. Recognized in the New York Times as one of the top 50 places to stay in the west, this is truly a great place to relax in comfort after a day on the water.
